This week the 1st/2nd years listened to these prophecies, pondering what they tell us about the History of the Kingdom of God, especially about the birth of Jesus (Redemption) and His return at Parousia.
The Prophecy of the Mother (Isaiah 7:14)
- "Emmanuel means God is with us. God lives in Parousia. He is there. Maybe Parousia is Heaven."
The Prophecy of the Names (Isaiah 9:5)
- "God will be called every holy name there is. In Parousia He will be all in all and His Kingdom will have no end."
- "A hero is someone who would heal the people. God did heal them. He will heal everyone before they get to Parousia because there will be no tears or pain there."
- "God is our Father Forever because He will stay in our hearts forever."
- "In Parousia God will be my Father and Parousia will never end. That's forever!"
The Prophecy of the Star and Scepter (Numbers 24:17b)
- "It's like the shepherds following the star so everyone can see Jesus' light."
- "When a shepherd and a king are put together it's Jesus."
- "Star, scepter, and staff together make the sign of Jesus."
The Prophecy of the Light (Isaiah 9:1)
- "The darkness is the waiting. But there will always be light in Parousia because God will be there and He is the Light."
- "I hope that Parousia would come soon."
