Level 1:
- A child (3yo) placed a statue of Mary next to the Good Shepherd statue on the prayer table. When asked about this he said, "She takes care of the Good Shepherd."
- The week after receiving the Annunciation presentation for the first time, a 4yo was working with the material and narrating the Scripture to herself with the Bible open in front of her...
- Angel: "Mary, do you want to be the Mother of God?"
- Mary: "Yes, angel."
- Angel: "Come, fire flame." (The flame in this work represents the Holy Spirit.)
- "There was a lot of darkness, but then there was a light! I can't really read so I'm just saying what I remember."
Level 2:
- Two 6yos, pondering the parable of the Found Coin:
- "It's the bucket of goodness! God holds all of our goodness for us. When we lose some of it when we sin, He helps us look for it because He's the light."
- "And then the angels and Mary and Joseph rejoice!"
Level 3:
- A group of 9-12yos were pondering the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. In speaking about piety, several referred to how they thought of Mary when they thought about this Gift:
- "[Mary] loved Jesus and she loved God. Jesus is God and He is God's gift."
- "[Mary served God] her whole life and gave birth to Him and said, 'Yes.'"
- "Mary loved God more than anything else. She didn’t need to get baptized because when she was born, she was already a child of God because she didn’t have any sin. She was God’s mother and she loved Him, and she loves us because she is also our mother.”
- "[Mary] loved Jesus and she loved God. Jesus is God and He is God's gift."
