- 4yo, when asked what colors she might use to decorate around her Easter Candle. “Red for God. Yellow for joy.”
- 5yo: “Do you know why I like Catholic schools? In public schools you don’t talk about God or learn about Him and He is really, really, really important. I like that we learn about Him here.”
- 2nd grader: “Is it ok if I make a public diary about my experience with Jesus?” (Holding a sheet of lined paper and asking permission to use it.) Catechist: "Well, yes. That sounds like a very good use of your Atrium time." 2nd grader to a second 2nd grader: "It's a public diary so you can read it."
- 3rd grader during her first day in a brand new Atrium, referring to the words that had been written by children, parents, and staff on the concrete floor and drywall before the Atrium was finished: “The Scriptures on the walls and the floor are like the graces from God. We can’t see them but we know they are there.”
- 4th grader to a few friends who were disagreeing during Atrium: “Guys this is Atrium not argue-atrium.”
- Lutheran 4th grader who was part of a discussion about a parable "My pastor tells us what the Scripture means. You Catholics have to think about it."
